Candy Hearts
My second attempt at waterdrop photography. The setup was not too complicated. I needed a sheet of glass which I got by removing one of the doors to my stereo cabinet. Next I needed some Rain-X which I journeyed to my local Autozone to get. The Rain-X helps the water bead up on the surface of the glass. The drops need to be as spherical in shape as possible to act as mini-fisheye lenses. The subject is placed below the glass and lights shined directly on it. The most important piece of the shot is a macro lens which I just happened to have. These shots are just my first I'm going to keep working at it with different subjects until I get one that I just absolutely love. These shots are still some of my favorites photos that I have ever taken.
