Great Falls In Fall
Great Falls at Rock Island State Park is awesome. Period. No questions asked. It is looking like we will be making this an annual trip. Wes, Lee and I decided to go back this year after being amazed last year. And wow, we were met with a wall of fog. I mean someone turned the Fogmaster on high and left it on all night. But all that created an atmosphere around Great Falls that was best described as surreal. It was like a completely different place from my last visit. Great Falls is a majestic and powerful waterfall. It is ALWAYS flowing because it is fed by a reservoir located above the falls. During Autumn, it is surrounded by beautiful colors and on this trip they were vibrant as ever. I highly recommend visiting the Rock Island State Park located near McMinnville, TN also home to the "Friendliest Car Dealership on Earth"....They really think highly of themselves in McMinnville, TN.
